Water Development
Capital-efficient water infrastructure.
Water is often the limiting factor on a ranch. Do it right, and it pays you back for decades. Do it wrong, and you’ll be paying for it for decades. We help design and implement water infrastructure that takes into account not only the cost, but also the potential upside from improved grazing and livestock distribution.
Services
What we do.
Site Planning
Every ranch is different. Every plan should be different. We do in-person source-to-trough analysis from a working operator’s perspective, with your management needs in mind:
- Water source
- Distribution network
- Reserves
- Livestock access
Capex Modeling
Show the return before the trench gets dug, so you know what to expect:
- Cost per foot
- Cost per animal unit
- Return on investment
- Timeline
- Upside math
Install Supervision
Labor savings if needed. We help with implementation to relieve friction. You get a point person who understands the project well and solves problems as they pop up. That’s peace of mind.
- Materials sourcing and pricing
- Contractor management

Richard Tiska
Richard earned his B.S. in chemical engineering from Wisconsin and worked as an operations consultant at Alvarez & Marsal in Chicago. His work centered on supply-chain optimization: network design, freight-lane economics, capex modeling, and operational due diligence for food and distribution clients. Earlier, at Dow Chemical, he restructured chemical-site logistics procedures and built pollutant containment plans across critical process areas.
Richard takes the same analytical toolkit and engineering fundamentals to ranch infrastructure: water source to trough, network capacity, reserves modeled against real ranch numbers. You see the impact of a potential investment and decide whether it is worth it.
Water infrastructure deserves the same scrutiny a multi-million-dollar distribution network or business gets. It is often overlooked on the front end. Richard helps you solve problems before you see them.
